A semi-new blog I set up because Hillary pissed me off.

I’m so pissed I could Blog. Let it out.

With the latest endorsements, Barack Obama is now within a decent showing in the three upcoming elections. Predictions to come, but my estimates show him picking up a little more than 40 between now and Tuesday. Remaining superdelegate endorsements, plus any fair seating of Florida and Michigan delegates, put him over the top, where we’ve all known for some time that he was destined.

For the record, DemConWatch now has him needing 41 to clinch

Caveat: I don’t expect Clinton to go anywhere. I fully expect challenges, appeals, lawsuits, and it could easily become exactly the media narrative she wants. The biggies in the party, Reid, Gore, Pelosi, Carter, Mitchell, they’ll show support for Obama next week, but no matter. It’s about to get ugly, y’all.

But she’s done it again. I’m back to being totally amazed at what lengths (depths) Hillary Clinton will go (sink) to get the power she so brazenly craves.

Now Clinton has evoked political assassination.

I renew calls for her removal from the party. Starting now.

Seems like yesterday afternoon was a ticklish fun time in Electionland. I was helping my lady move, and missed some nuggets, most importantly this one from Michael Bloomberg on the gas-tax holiday, aka, worst idea in the world.

In the Chicago Tribune, Clinton proposes that only she and John McCain pass the so-called Commander-In-Chief threshold.

Can we strip the D- from in front of her name? Can we start the race for the Republican nomination all over, pitting her and against McCain?

• Clinton says McCain has more judgment than Obama (true, of course, being 25 years older and having been in the Senate roughly 20 more years). By implication, of course, Clinton is saying McCain would make a better president than her Democratic rival. From Huffington Post.

This is what your candidate has said:

“I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.”

In a way, she’s making Obama’s point for him — that a lifetime experience (for both McCain and Clinton) leave the American people with an endless war.

Again, Shame on you, Hillary Clinton.

I totally overlooked this clip when setting up my Hillary Unhinged category a few weeks ago:

From DailyKos, rumors that the campaign may sue Texas over complicated voting procedures. I concede the point, but not the tactic. If you really care about voter reform, sue after the election, not when your poll numbers suddenly show the evaporation of a 13-month lead.

Not exactly completely unhinged, per the requirements of this category, but in this interview with Texas Monthly Editor-In-Chief Evan Smith, she blows off the chances of a Democrat winning in Texas in the general election. Sure, it’s not likely, but saying as much does nothing to abate such a losing streak.
