Message to Bankers (Guest Post)
There’s some fine text written in between the lines of speeches from both sides of Congress’ aisle lately. This quote is from Obama’s Senate floor speech:
“There will be time to punish those who set this fire, but now is not the time to argue about how it got set or did the neighbor…leave the stove on. Right now we want to put out that fire…”
…”This will not solve all our problems. It is a necessary but not sufficient step.”
Can you read the small text? It says:
For all you bankers who left us in this crisis: As soon as we’re done here, we’re going after you and we’re going to surgically pull your asshole through your stomach and into your mouth so you can taste the shit we’re eating for you. Then we’re going to burn you alive, but we’re going to use modern science and iron lungs to keep you alive as long as possible so you can feel every flick of flame against your singed and raw exposed nerves. We’re going to do it slowly, using medieval tactics in ways that will make even your fellow rotting-in-prison Enron executives relieved of the mercy they received by the same hands.
Man, that is mean. I’d hate to be a greedy bank executive right now. Although, while they’re at it and for what it’s worth, maybe the feds can repossess whatever riches the bankers accrued at the cost of the United States economy.
